Oktoberfest Dallas serves as the largest fundraiser for the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands (a 501c3 organization). Proceeds support scholarships for graduating students, local police and fire departments, area schools, Family Compass (a nonprofit dedicated to preventing child abuse and supporting families in crisis), and other nonprofits organizations including Feed Lake Highlands, Lake Highlands Women’s League, Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League, 100 Women of Lake Highlands, and Lake Highlands Public Improvement District.

Since Octoberfest Dallas’s inception in 2011, The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands has raised more than $1,400,000 which funded college scholarships for Lake Highlands High School seniors and has been distributed to other nonprofit organizations around Dallas.
